How to find qualified overseas buyers with AI: from search results to prospects

The short answer
Start by defining who would buy your product. Discover candidate companies, verify their websites and business roles, check contacts, then decide which records deserve follow-up. AI can help collect and organize evidence. A search result, company name or AI score alone does not establish buying intent.
Define four parts of the buyer profile
Specify the product application, buyer business model, target market and exclusions. “US customers” is broad. “US brands selling pet travel accessories that may source soft bags, excluding pet boarding services” is easier to evaluate.
- Product and application: why would this business need the product?
- Buyer role: brand, manufacturer, distributor or another purchasing role.
- Market: country, language and the delivery area you can serve.
- Exclusions: competing factories, service-only businesses or irrelevant retail categories.
Use industry-specific evidence
These are illustrative profiles, not customer case studies. A bag factory may inspect a brand’s travel accessories range. An industrial parts trader may inspect equipment and spare-parts categories. An ingredient supplier may look for relevant finished-product manufacturers or specialist distributors.
The process can be shared across industries; the keywords and evidence cannot. In areas such as food or chemicals, business fit does not replace checking specifications, qualifications and market requirements. One relevant word on a website is not enough to establish suitability.
Keep an evidence card for each candidate
Record company name, website, role, relevant product pages, reasons for fit, conflicting evidence, contact source, verification state and review date. Missing or contradictory information should remain unresolved rather than being filled with guesses.
Email verification describes a technical assessment at a particular time. It does not establish that the recipient handles purchasing or guarantee delivery. Keep unknown, risky and invalid results distinct.
Review before moving to outreach
Reacho’s discovery workflow can produce candidates for selection into customer records. Continue organizing contact details, information and next actions around that record. Source coverage and quality vary by market and configuration; candidate counts are not counts of potential orders.
Before outreach, a salesperson should be able to explain why this specific company is relevant. If that explanation is missing, collect more evidence or skip the candidate rather than compensating with a longer email.
Common questions
Why is a company found in search not yet a qualified prospect?
A match only indicates relevance to a search query. Verify business role, product fit, market, contact and current evidence. Buying intent requires further communication.
Can factories and trading companies share the same discovery process?
Yes, they can share discovery, verification, record creation and follow-up. However, profiles must reflect their products, sourcing capabilities and buyer roles rather than recycling another industry’s list.
